Michael Gonnelli - Term 12/31/2017
Mayor Michael Gonnelli is a life-long resident of Secaucus and was the Town’s long-time Department of Public Works Superintendent. A former fire chief, Mayor Gonnelli is also a former Commissioner of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (NJMC). Mike served on the Planning Board and was a founding member of the Environmental and Shade Tree Committees.
He was honored as the Community Hero Torch Bearer for the 1996 Olympic Games. Mayor Gonnelli was the recipient of the 2004 UNICO Citizen of the Year, the 200 Club of Hudson County Valor Award and is past president of the Secaucus Babe Ruth League. An honoree of the Hackensack Riverkeeper for Excellence in Public Service, Mike served as a Council Member for three years before being elected Mayor in 2009.
Married to his wife, Linda, they have four children and three grandchildren.

Councilman John Gerbasio has lived in Secaucus for 26+ years. He has resided in 2 wards.
A graduate of St. John’s University, John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1980.
He is a Registered Pharmacist and former small business owner of Jersey Drugs Inc,
A proponent of community service, John was a volunteer with Secaucus Recreation Wrestling program, Secaucus Little League and Babe Ruth league, and the Secaucus Patriot Booster Club. He is a long time member and office holder in the K & S Social and Athletic Club.
He was elected to the Secaucus Board of Education in 2013, serving for 3 years, the last 2 years as Board President
He and his wife, Kathy, have three adult children, all products of the Secaucus School system and 2 grandchildren
Name: Robert Costantino - Term 12/31/2017
A 35+ year resident of Secaucus, Rob Costantino has lived in all three town wards, and is a successful product of the Secaucus Public School System. Costantino received his BS in Business/Accounting from Montclair State University, and has 25 years accounting experience in his family-owned firm in Secaucus. He also has 10 years of mortgage lending experience and is currently employed by NJ Lenders Corp.
Costantino is a founding member of the Steven Strobert Foundation and an active member of the community, including a Recreation Wrestling coach and Little League Baseball Coach. He is a dedicated father of three sons Anthony and twins Alex and Dean. Rob has been Elected Official since January 2010
Name: James Clancy - Term 12/31/2018
A lifelong resident of Secaucus, James J. Clancy, Sr. has been a Social Studies teacher at Secaucus Middle/High School for the past 34 years and previously served four terms on the Town Council from 1986-1993. He has a BA Degree in Economics and is a member of the National Education Association, New Jersey Education Association, and Secaucus Education Association.
An active member of the community for many years, Clancy is a former member of the Secaucus Little League and Babe Ruth League and former member of the now defunct Secaucus Jaycees. He is currently a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Mary Immaculate Council of Secaucus, member of Monsignor B. O’Connor Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and a member of the American Legion Post 118.
Clancy has served in the United States Army Reserve and served as a counselor for North Hudson Community Action Program. He and his wife Carol are the proud parents of two adult sons, and grandparents of four.
Name: Susan Pirro - Term 12/31/2018
Third Ward Councilwoman Susan Pirro has lived in Secaucus for 21 years. She has been an active member of the community for most of those years.
She was elected to the Secaucus Board of Education and served 6 years on that Board. She has served as a volunteer member of the Secaucus Community Education Advisory Council, the Clarendon School PTA, Secaucus Middle School PTA (past President), Secaucus High School PTSA (past President), Secaucus Booster Club, Secaucus Marching Band Parents Association, and the Secaucus Public Library. She was awarded the NJ State Legislature Outstanding Community Service Award, the Secaucus HS Community Honor Roll Award, and the American Cancer Society Bronze Star Award.
Currently, she is a volunteer for the Secaucus Citizens Animal Care Committee, Secaucus Municipal Youth Alliance and is the Town Council’s liaison to the Secaucus Board of Health and Secaucus Office of Emergency Management.
Ms. Pirro has lived in Harmon Cove for 21 years with her 3 daughters Christie, Lauren, & Cheryl.
Name: Mark Dehnert - Term 12/31/2017
Councilman Mark Dehnert is a life-long resident of Secaucus and a successful product of the Secaucus Public School system. He has lived in two wards of Secaucus. Currently he is Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of an upscale coop in Manhattan, directing a staff of 45 employees. Formerly in the hotel and hospitality industry for over 25 years, and a former small business owner in town.
He is the President of the Steven Strobert Foundation and a recipient of the 2009 Steven Strobert Foundation Man of the Year Award. Mark is also a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Mark coaches recreation boys/girls basketball, girls softball, boys Little League baseball and travel teams. Formerly he coached recreation football and soccer.
He is a dedicated father to three children all attending the Secaucus school system, Melissa, 15, in High School; Amanda, 14, in Middle School; and Mark, 10, in Huber Street School. Married 27 years to his wife Lori.
Name: William McKeever - Term 12/31/2017
A 50+ year resident of Secaucus, Bill McKeever has lived in all three town wards and attended local Secaucus schools. He is a retiree, having served 35 years in the trucking industry and serving ten years as a Business Agent or Shop Steward. A former U.S. Army Sergeant, McKeever served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He is a life member of the Secaucus VFW Post 3776 and member of the Secaucus American Legion Post 118.
McKeever, a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, and his late wife, Lorraine Fers of Secaucus, have two children. He is a licensed realtor and former Little League coach and is a 10-year trustee of the Pension Fund and Medical Fund.
